Momma Owl built her nest above the entrance to the Sunrise Mall where we take our walk. She may be a first-time mom to put up with all the traffic and excited observers and cameras. But at night the roles are reversed with the security lights blinding her prey. I imagine there's a collection of mouse bones on the roof. A white chick popped its head up today, and then another one. It's going to be fun to see the commotion when they take flight. Hope the weather improves.
