Dix Gets a Raise

For some time Dix has contemplated going back to work in order to bolster her eventual Social Security pay. It's always been "I'm going to have to get a job next year" or "...when you retire". Now we realize at age 66 she will qualify for one-half of whatever my Social Security benefit is, or a reduced percentage if she starts drawing at age 62. In any event she will receive multiple times what she will be qualified for through her homemaking career. Essentially I have given her a future raise. Needless to say she has terminated her job search, such as it was.
