Fish Night

Dix is frying up some catfish and the cats are pacing the kitchen.

Jalan Crossland was playing at NCHS last night so we went to hear his bluegrass. I have heard him a couple times playing solo at the Beartrap Music Festival and was interested in hearing him in an auditorium setting. We arrived early and heard him warming up with his band. They were so loud and rock-like we did not even buy tickets and went home. We really weren't too into it anyway and looked forward to a quiet evening reading. Plopped down on the couch and noticed Pyrite had gotten sick under the coffee table. Back in force with the Bissell. Guess it's time to cut her off of baby food.

Today we saw a Grand Opening! sign for a new restaurant in Casper called "Wonderful House" (Chinese). Nicely decorated but so-so on food and the Pepsi was weak. We'll be going back to our old run-down Szechwan where the Pepsi is the surpiest in town.

Spent an hour trying to get the printer to work. Seems like both the color and black cartridges are wasted so it was a convenient time to upgrade. We looked at several models at Office Max and worked our way up to an HP all-in-one. The deal-closing feature for Dix was that is was wireless - no more cables! For $199 it was tempting to buy then and there but patience is paying off by ordering from Amazon.com for $107.

We agreed to opt out of Valentines Day.
