Buyer's Remorse

It's never simple for the indecisive. An upper level executive with my old company suggests there could be an offer to stay when the president gets back in town (...is he just being gracious?). The new company is offering one less week of vacation (...that would nix the annual elk hunt). It comes down to working harder for three more years for a possible windfall if the new company stock continues to boom. I don't know why we need more money (...to donate it to the Humane Society? bury it with me to cross the Styx River?). I have yet to sign on the line.
