The Boss is Leaving

The boss called a staff meeting and announced she has taken a job with another company. This is not good news. She did a lioness's share of the work and now the few of us remaining may have to pick up the slack. A couple have begun to make power moves, including the secretary who tried to pass off some filing on me. No word from senior management what may transpire. We are the crew on a rudderless ship.
