Atlantic City, Wyoming

Travis and Susie invited the hunters and their spouses to their cabin in Atlantic City, Wyoming. There were ten of us so the host and hostess camped out in a tent while turning the cabin over to the guests. We took the camper since Pyrite's newly discovered glaucoma required eye drops to be given twice a day. Dix was very concerned whether she would survive the trip with her shyness and all.

On the way we visited with Steve at the park in Riverton where he treated us to Subway fare. The poor guy had to buy our lunch to keep us away from visiting at his home. In that respect he's a little like Pyrite who likes to keep her quarters private too.
Honey really enjoyed the spicy chipolte chips.

It turns out Pyrite was very comfortable in the camper and spent her time on the bed watching the festivities out the window. After our four-wheeler run, I brought her out to observe the chipmunks, dogs, birds, and people from my lap. Dix was incredulous of her nonchalance.

Don got with it dancing with the ladies to the tunes from the 50's and 60's from Travis' satellite radio. Pretty good for the 73-year-old birthday boy. The booze and high altitude and exercise took its toll by dinner and Don was a bit unresponsive even to his special request - rutabagas. Delores made sure he got something in his stomach before Travis tucked him in his sleeping bag.
