Got an email from the boy acknowledging he received the "fascist" books we sent for his birthday present. I thought In Defense of Food was pretty neutral. Perhaps America Alone: The End of the World As We Know It by Mark Steyn might be be a tough read for his liberal leanings. We continued a thread of pre-election day emails that focused on the developing Guaranteed Retirement Account Act wherewith this administration is trying to co-opt 401k retirement funds to pay for its deficit crisis. The kid has so joined onto Chicago politics he appears to be OK with forfeiting to the government one-half of his inheritance of whatever might be left of our 401k. Then again it is his underfunded union pension that stands to benefit from raiding private retirement accounts.
