Green Acres

I stopped in on Bobbie and Jean in Reno. Jean showed me her new Honda Ridgeback pickup truck and it looked real good in the garage. She said she would not have purchased it had she tried to get it in there before she bought it. She put in guide rails to help center it through the door. At least she doesn't have to fold the side mirrors in.

Bobbie has lost a bunch of weight by taking some over the counter pill and eating smaller meal portions. Jean has surgery scheduled for a new knee. The place looked immaculate - ready for sale except for the fact home prices have slumped below the amount they have invested with all the improvements. Jean is never content to sit down and enjoy her green pasture for long. She'd like to live closer to the ocean in California. Here in her yard, rabbits were nibbling and the birds were scarfing up the seed. No new pigeons were in the cage trap. What happens after they are caught? Do you release them somewhere? Yeah, after their necks get wrung. Jean is a reality show.

Her neighbors will be back next week from their wintering down south somewhere. Jean has been watching after their house. She observed their nephew had stayed a few days and taped some cheap plastic over the Jacuzzi after using it. She knew that wouldn't last long after the first wind and so she tied down a heavy duty tarp after the plastic took off. I'd sure like to have her for our neighbor.
