Moving

We are scheduled for installing new carpet April 16th and we're been looking at and discussing where we are going to put our big heavy furniture. The only people we know are older and weaker and more crippled than we are, or out of the country. And we don't want any bubba's in here knocking things around or casing the joint. So, it's been a little every day. Dix said I never cease to amaze her, this time with using Egyptian construction techniques to disassemble and move the glass hutch off the buffet base - slipping towels under the hutch, turning it 90 degrees against the server, lifting it one step down onto the dining table, moving the server out of the way, lifting it another step lower onto the coffee table, then laying it down, and sliding it off onto the floor and on top of a dollie. The lightweight stuff goes downstairs and the big heavy stuff goes on the porch.

It was good timing that our new inversion table came yesterday. That and an Ibuprofen allows us to get right back into the project today.
