The yucky weather was good for finishing up tax forms. 2010 was a breeze, but estimating taxes for 2011 was a learning experience. Not knowing how much more consulting the company will need (though truth be told, they really don't need any), what may come of the spot job in Utah, whether I might jump back on the unemployment train, whether working might eat into my Social Security, how much Social Security will be taxed, and whether the market will produce capital gain or loss. Plus Dix asking where's Milo, pumping up her carpal tunnel device, letting Buddy in and out, sorting out medical insurance statements, working on the Jumbo Puzzle, debating wolf predator control, keeping tabs on the Wisconsin Supreme Court voting and federal budget countdown. I'm sure I would not be as productive on a sunny day.

Milo is a pretty good retriever as far as cats go. He likes to chase a ball tossed down a flight of stairs. He dutifully brings it back and drops it at our feet for another chase. It's all part of his getting back in shape program. Before he was huffing and puffing but now after a week on science cat food he can make several flights without getting winded.
