Ms Pyrite has come out from the shadows to oversee decorating of the Christmas tree. 
The first attempt was a bust because the new lights were too big and bright. It was all light and no tree and you saw spots as you walked into the next room. So we took down the decorations and new lights and restrung the tree with the old strands with smaller bulbs. Much better. Then we noticed the tree had been drinking no water, nor was there any pine fragrance that we soaked up at the tree lot. So Dix held up the tree while I cut off another inch from the trunk. It may be our imagination but it seems to be wicking after an hour.
Dix could not find last years angel hair so she went on a shopping mission. KMart, Walmart, Target, Family Dollar, Home Depot, nothing. Must be banned. She rooted around some more at home and found one package to get us by this year.
