We have been pretty sparse with decorations this year. Pyrite was the driving force for a Christmas tree in prior years and there is not much desire to have one without her to gaze at. Milo needs to settle down a little before tempting him with a big climbing toy. Doukeni said she wins the Christmas tree competition by default. So with a nice calm day and a little free time on my hands, I got out the ladder, full extension, and shot up a Shooting Star over 12th Street. The effect seems to impress the commuters judging from the slower speed they are now driving in the evening. You can see it from four blocks away.
