Patio Progress

I asked William to come over to evaluate my patio cover design. He used construction lingo that made me think he knew what he was doing. He used pronouns that made it appear I was the one who would be doing it. Dix used the plural form as if she would be helping, or maybe "We" is my new name. We explored an enhanced wrap-around apron design that I could see William was getting a little dubious of my ability to execute. He bit and now I was reeling him in. A couple slices of pizza and a Corona and he offered to come back anytime for advice. I told him I'm more interested in him doing the job for pay. He said whatever I wish but he had a job to do first for his parents. He'll be back because he left his professional grade tape measurer.

William will be impressed that the demolition of the old cover has begun. Even the other half of "we" has become involved with taking pictures and site clean-up.
