I'm taking my friend up on his invitation to come on down to Borrego Springs where he is finishing up his winter stay in their Airstream trailer. I made my reservations on Southwest Airlines and a nearby 50's style motel. He said to rent a jeep for some desert trail riding. We'll probably do some birding too. He also has a bead on some golf course condos. He doesn't play golf but they go for $20 grand. He says he cannot get his wife interested but "that's throw-away money!"
