We had a snow flurry with big flakes that looked like we were inside a snow dome. The deer herd came through and put trails in the fresh powder in the back yard. It reminded me of grade school days when us kids would make trails in our back yard in Indiana after a big snow storm.
We went out and got a new coat for me with the 65% off sale at Macy's. I was in a mod mood and also bought a nice orange running jacket and printed tee-shirt - a combination that looked great on the mannequin. I might have to do some workouts.
Tonight at CASA training we studied what constitutes neglect. A single mom leaving a 9-year-old and a 7 year-old at home alone while she works at night? Maybe not if the kids know how to call a neighbor or 911. We are being coached to not project our standards of living onto the cases we will be undertaking.
Buddy just treated me to one of his night howls. They are long and mournful and he does it in his sleep while laying in the recliner. It's a bit erie.
