Night Time Conversation

Fell asleep at 7:30 reading the Thunderbolt Kid about a kid growing up in the Midwest in the 50's, the greatest time period there ever was. Woke up at 2:00 a.m. and saw that we had accumulated a foot of wet snow and it was still coming down. Got my Cabo San Lucas hat on and started shoveling away. It was a full shovel load for each length of the scoop. At 2:30, the neighbor girl returned home from a night out with her friends and was full of conversation. She said she was hoping to get up before me in the morning to get started on the shoveling. They have not actually purchased a snow shovel not knowing how long they would be in Casper, but now they have renewed their lease for two years. She said she needs to clear out their garage because she bought a 60's Nash, supposedly with only 30,000 miles, for $4,500. She said that was their vacation money. Her dog Herc has thrown up 10 times in the last few days. She was concerned about us because the house was dark last evening. She's been kick boxing and her instructor gave her a water bag to kick. She's painting the living room because the landlord is putting in new carpet next week. She painted the downstairs room hot pink. And that's what I could comprehend without my hearing aids.
