Dix' Christmas gift to me this year was to skip it altogether, being that her shoulder rehab limited her lifting to 6 ounces. So happy New Year.
We went to a cocktail party at Linda's new house. We were talking about old houses and somebody commented on how little closet space there is in old houses. Shazam! That's why Dix has been hanging all our wardrobe on the steam pipes. That inspired me to design a luxurious walk-in closet in the downstairs bedroom. That room is too long anyway. The closet entrance will be on the left and the wall will run between the boxes.

This room is now graced with a sketch of Eglase St. Michel that we received from our kids for Christmas. The more we look at the print, the more we are obsessed with it. We cannot make out the artist's signature so I am sending a photo of it to our friend in France.
