Visitors to Camp Casper

Don and Delores visited. Don had to have a test on his spine although he said he was resolved he would not have back surgery. Delores knows when to bite her tongue. The results showed three bone spurs and a ruptured vertebrae. The consensus was to have surgery after all. Macho Don complained to the doctor this would interfere with his hunting plans. Doc told him he cannot not ride a four-wheeler unless he has the surgery. After scheduling surgery he said he was ready to leave and have a shot of bourbon.

The judge spent the night in the camper. He liked the address numbers I taped to the door "231 1/2 - Hall". It was the only way we could get him to stay overnight as there is no smoking in the house. That will now be the rule for the camper too as I spent the following day fumigating it.

The hornets have been bugging us at the back door where they investigate the cracks and crevices of the awning and search for the source of cooking aromas. Dukeni gave me a half used can of wasp killer that shoots up to 20 feet. Their nests are in the highest eaves of the house. In the cool of this morning, from the highest rungs of my extension ladder, I used up the can. 70 enemy dead and still dropping like flies.
