Gushing Guardians

We had a nice call from Chris - they are making out a will and they asked Benjamin who would he like to stay with if something were to happen to his parents, his aunts and uncles, or grandparents. He said he wants to stay with Grandpa (in Wyoming). Nanna is thrilled to be included, even if by default. She told Chris she would be a lot better mother today than back then as if she needed to audition.

Grandpa may be establishing some more stringent designated driver rules. We had a nice dinner at Gus and Lynette's. Gus did his special lamb chops with Clos du Bois Chardonnay, Old Chicago 2-day cheesecake and B-52's. Feeling very good afterwards, I did not notice the tree that was ridiculously close to the driveway and it sheared off the passenger side mirror - the second time in two weeks. The weird thing is it immediately struck me as hilarious - wires dangling and turn signal pointing to the ground for a left turn. The next day is when it became not funny. This time it was the full $400 Monte.
