Saturday was blustery - six inches of blowing snow. We had indoor activities starting with an open house at noon at Silvia and Jaumie's. All cowboys doffed their boots at the door. Jaumie was a great host with a nice selection of wines. He squeezed orange juice for martinis Andorran style and made spinach and sausage pizzas. We left for the Wyoming Symphony and Chorale concert at 3 p.m. Feeling no pain from Jaumie's hospitality, I left my coat in the truck so as not to be bothered with it indoors. A highlight was when they had a first-grader conduct the symphony for a short movement. The litle kid was decked out in a tuxedo and while he started out great, it seems the power astounded him and losing focus he waved the wand slower and slower until the last drawn out note. It was funny like a record losing rpm's and the audience loved it. Returning to the car in the freezing dark with blowing snow without a coat no doubt gave me the cold that I'm now nursing.
