Busy Beavers

This cottonwood crashed as we were approaching.

There's a feral cat Buddy and I have seen on our dog walk along the North Platte. I left a helping of cat food out for it during our cold snap. Today the food was gone. Also today we heard and saw a beaver-compromised tree fall. There's a big one they are working on along the bank.

The big one in the background has a beaver target on it.
