Maiden Voyage

We hitched up the trailer and parked her at the overnighter court - Space No. 5 - at Alcova Reservoir. Our neighbors were a young family in a tent trailer, with two Sheep Dog puppies that we either rassling with each other or sleeping all day. On the other side were two scuba diving couples. They saw a few carp and a gadzillion crayfish. At midnight we sat in the lawn chairs to watch the Perseid metiorites, which was interesting, but not as exciting as the family of deer that joined us for bread and apple slices. Then the puppies joined us, fumbling around at our feet.
After all the home trials and preparation, we still lacked a spatula, fly swatter, range back splash, cutting board and Phillips screwdriver. The black water tank was finally initiated. What a convenience though we were both constipated in loathing of despoiling the plumbing.
