Coal Mountain

Took a short trip up the back side of Casper Mountain on the four-wheeler. Ten miles from a town of 60,000 people, we were the only ones there. Spooked up a covey of five or six sage hens and then took a hike to try to find them again - no luck. We got to prospecting for landscaping rocks since the further away from the trail, the more beautiful they became. So we hauled the biggest ones we could carry and load onto the ATV. Back in town they transformed into smaller and less colorful, and left scratches on the ATV.
